                    Sara Blazo

I am an actress, model, and retired massage therapist but have been painting off and on since attending Abington high school and Centenary College where I was an art major.

I always love the feeling of giving “life” to a blank canvas and see it evolve into a finished painting. Acrylic is my medium of choice, although I have worked in oils, pen and ink, water color and pastels. My favorite subjects are animals of any kind and I have done quite a few pet commissions.

My paintings have been shown in various gallery settings in PA and NJ and I have won a few prizes along the way. Most of my art studies were back in school, but I also have worked with a few artists along the way.

Of course many of my paintings are in friends and family homes, but I am always thrilled to see others enjoy them on their walls too.

I am so very happy to be a part of the Gathering and to hang my work in Doylestown! ❤

Shannon Yue.

Shannon is 13-year-old living in PA who has been drawing ever since

she discovered the mystical powers of the pencil.

Shannon started out drawing stick figures and basic animals; slowly progressing into more complicated things.  Her parents discovered her talent and enrolled her in different art classes which she actually liked very much.  About 3 years ago, Shannon discovered digital art and says it is remarkable how art can be created with an extra fancy pen and iPad.  She is in love with art and forever will be.

Yonina Schuchman

Yonina Schuchman is a Philadelphia native who lives in Horsham PA. She was a three year art major at Upper Dublin High School and had the opportunity to to take various art classes in her 20s when she was living in Israel. After returning to the US with a husband and baby, her priorities shifted and she was unable to devote time to serious art. Today she is an acrylic and watercolor artist, creating art after decades in the IT field.  She retired from the corporate world in 2018 with a goal to return to the arts. Since then, she has studied with Debora King and Patricia Allingham Carlson, and has exhibited at the Pennridge Gallery of the Arts festival in Sellersville.

She loves bright colors, impressionism, nature, mysticism, and capturing happy experiences. Yonina feels that her life has been blessed with joy and love, and she hopes that her paintings convey those feelings.

Alan Stifelman,

Nature and Wildlife Photography

Alan Stifelman has been a long-time birder and lover of nature. After retiring from his full-time profession as Business Manager of several Independent Schools he has been able to commit more time and energy capturing images of the natural world he loves.  His real passion is spending time on the water in his green Pokeboat with binoculars and camera observing, learning about, and taking pictures of birds and other wildlife.  Alan’s favorite camera  setup is a Nikon D850 and Sigma 60-600mm zoom lens.

When he is not seeking out the perfect nature photo Alan does nosework and agility with Lucy, his beloved Australian Shepherd, one of the 3 dogs he lives with.  Other activities include building a chicken coop for his wife’s chickens and splitting wood for his hungry woodstove.

“All living things fascinate me with their beauty, originality and place in nature.  I hope that is evident in my photographs.”
