Joe Sears

 Joe received his bachelor’s degree in Studio Art from Temple University in 2002.  But it wasn’t until 2006 that he decided to use his degree and start oil painting.   

      For the past 17 years Joe has painted over 40 paintings.   He prizes himself mostly with color.  And strives to be intelligent and try new things!   

     He has been in several exhibitions.  Namely at the former Sidetracks Gallery for their ‘Naked in New Hope” festival, The plastic club & the sketch club in Center city Philadelphia, twice at 3rd street gallery for their annual community show, and most recently in Doylestown at the Gathering Art gallery. 

     On the horizon, Joe plans on entering the Lower Bucks County Community college’s “Color my World” exhibition and to continue to be a mainstay at the Gathering.   

     Joe’s dream is to one day own and operate his own Art gallery, but many obstacles need to be overcome first! 

     So please enjoy Joe’s colorful work, and while you’re at it maybe buy a piece!!!
